OUR INITIATIVES

Signature G.O.A.T Programming

01

Her Advantage

Dedicated to empowering high school girls' tennis, we foster confidence and growth by offering unwavering support throughout their season and providing resources that help them thrive as individuals, both on and off the court.

02

Westside Stories

Expanding tennis opportunities in West Charlotte through community-driven initiatives, with plans to extend our impact to other areas, ensuring more youth can experience the benefits of the sport.

03

First Serve

First Serve is designed to ignite a passion for tennis in young minds. While we may not yet offer a complete tennis program, we believe in the importance of sparking interest early, providing them with their first experience on the court, and planting the seeds of curiosity and enthusiasm.

G.O.A.T Initiative

The G.O.A.T. (Getting Our Adolescents in Tennis) Initiative is transforming the tennis landscape for marginalized youth by breaking down barriers and expanding access. We are committed to holistic development on and off the court, offering experiences and support that drive equitable opportunities for every child.

To date, we've empowered over 250 young people, helping them realize their potential and opening doors to new opportunities through tennis. Our initiative is not just about playing the game—it's about empowering and building up our youth.

Open Opportunity Initiative

Black Tennis Connect partners with tennis tournaments nationwide to provide marginalized communities free access to these events. Our initiative is dedicated to championing inclusivity and driving equity, working to enhance diversity within tournaments and the broader tennis community.

      Did you know?

  • Only 12% of tennis players in the U.S. come from underrepresented backgrounds.

  • Marginalized youth participate in tennis at significantly lower rates compared to their peers.

By offering access and support, we are committed to closing these gaps and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience and be inspired by the sport of tennis.
